Pilau rice is so easy to make and a great recipe for adding a powerful flavour to your rice. Perfect served with chicken, lamb or beef spiced. Brown beef in a dutch oven, half at a time, in hot oil. Remove and set aside, reserving drippings.

  1. In a sufuria,add cooking oil and let it heat then add the onions cook until brown then add the crushed ginger and garlic.
  2. Then add your meat, cook for 3 minutes within the 3 minutes you can blend 2 tomatoes, add to your meat let it cook until a thick paste is formed, now you can add your pilau Masala(add according to your preference because I like my pilau spicy), cover and let the spice cook.
  3. When the spice is cooked, add your water then the rice and salt cover your rice and let it cook.
  4. When ready serve and garnish your pilau with the left one tomato chopped into rings and enjoy

Brown beef in a dutch oven, half at a time, in hot oil. Remove and set aside, reserving drippings. In drippings, cook onion and garlic till tender but not brown. Return all meat to dutch oven. Add coconut milk, undrained tomatoes, salt and coriander into meat mixture.
