The ingredients needed to make Beer Chili:
  1. Prepare 2 lb Ground beef or beef stew meat
  2. Prepare 1 large Onion (I use sweet)
  3. Get 1 large Green bell pepper

  5. Take 2 can 8 ounce tomato sauce
  6. Make ready 1 can 6 ounce tomato paste
  7. Make ready 1 can 14.5 ounce diced tomatoes
  8. Prepare 8 oz Medium salsa
  9. Make ready 2 can Beer (I prefer Heineken)
  10. Take 2 can 15 ounce Kidney Beans
  11. Get 4 tbsp Chili Seasoning Mix (see my recipe)
  12. Make ready 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  13. Make ready 1 tsp Cayenne pepper

Normally, I tend to think chili needs bell pepper for flavor, but I only chopped one sweet onion for this one. I also used pre-minced garlic to save you some time. Just make sure your jar is fresh, or you'll be missing out on flavor. Add the onions, peppers, and garlic, stirring well to coat.

Instructions to make Beer Chili:
  1. Brown ground beef/beef stew meat in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder
  2. While browning meat: in another pan heat olive oil (about 2 teaspoons) and add diced green pepper and diced onion. Cook until translucent and then add garlic, cook another 2 minutes. Add to ground beef/beef stew meat pot.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to a simmer or transfer to a crockpot.
  4. The longer it cooks the better it is!!!
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and onions. Or whatever is your favorite. ENJOY!!!

Add the tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, cinnamon and chili flakes and stir and mash it into the pepper and onions.
